Clubs & Organizations: Diversity Club
The Diversity Club is open to all credit students attending Reading Area Community College who want to promote acceptance and sharing of diverse cultures, races, abilities, lifestyles, and viewpoints. The club especially welcomes international, English language learners who are adjusting to college life. Monthly meetings include a time for sharing ideas and talents. The club organizes the popular Annual International Festival in the spring and joins together in community service activities.
What We Do:
- Foster connections among all students of diverse backgrounds.
- Help all students feel welcome and supported.
- Collaborate with other clubs to host the Annual International Festival
- Host guest speakers
- Participate in community service
- Visit nearby attractions
General Club Meetings:
Main Meeting: 1st Wednesday of each month at 3:00 PM in the SUB Perch or via Zoom. Our meetings are half business, half fun. It's a time for sharing your viewpoint on a theme.
